Was there ever a more perfect role? Steve Buscemi is lending his voice to Templeton the Rat in the live action remake of Charlotte’s Web, due in theatres December 20, 2006. Yes, this is pretty old news. But if you’re deprived of a television like I am (and I’m sure you’re not), this may be your first opportunity to see the Charlotte’s Web TV spot.

Resevoir Dogs 15th Anniversary DVD

Resevoir Dogs, the brilliant gangster movie classic from writer/director Quentin Tarantino returns to DVD yet again on October 24th. That’s the day Lionsgate Home Entertainment will let the “dogs” out in a new 15th Anniversary 2-Disc Edition.

The film stars Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth, Chris Penn, Steve Buscemi, Lawrence Tierney and Michael Madsenhey in a story about four perfect strangers who get together to pull off the perfect crime. When their simple robbery explodes into bloody ambush, the ruthless killers realize one of them is a police informer.

One of my all-time favorite Buscemi roles is the twitchy, squeaky Mr. Pink. I owned the 10th Anniversary Edition (With the pink cover, naturally) but it was stolen - very pleased about this one! You can even pre-order on Amazon.

Buscemi, Akroyd join Sandler comedy

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Steve Buscemi and Dan Aykroyd have joined the cast of Adam Sandler’s firefighter comedy “I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.”

The Universal Pictures project revolves around two heterosexual firefighters (Sandler and Kevin James) who pose as a gay married couple in order to qualify for their department’s domestic-partner benefits.

Buscemi will play a city official who is dispatched to keep a close eye on Chuck and Larry and is hell bent on revealing their deception. Aykroyd will play the fire department captain. Dennis Dugan directs. Jessica Biel is also in the cast. (Read More)
