Monster House on DVD

Monster House is now available on DVD. While it’s technically a kiddy movie, teens and adults will find a ton of things to chuckle at, and even a few spooky surprises. Some scenes are a little rought for kids - like Nebbercracker’s abrupt meeting with the ground - but that is kind of the point. Aside from the great voicework from Buscemi (who is almost unrecognizable with that creaky old man growl!) Monster House features Maggie Gyllenhaal, Jason Lee, Mitchel Musso and Sam Lerner. It really is a very cute movie, with plenty of humor and wit for the big kids and their kids both.
