Sawbones on Sirius 119 ’til Friday
Posted by Mona - No CommentsSawbones, part of The Theatre for the New Ear and directed by OSCAR AWARD WINNING OH MY GOD Joel and Ethan Coen, will air on Sirius 119 now through Friday February 29. Voices include Steve Buscemi, John Goodman, Marcia Gay Harden and Meryl Streep, among others. If you’ve got access, have a listen! I’ve heard nothing but good things about the original, which ran at St. Ann’s Warehouse with the same cast back in 2005.
Check out an article from The New York Times about the fist run, or some info over at Sirius.

This video is fantastic. FANTASTIC. Not just because Aaron is hot, either: dude waltzes up to Buscemi and gives props for Miller’s Crossing. Buscemi’s reaction is great, although I can’t help but think it would have been ten times better if burly security guards had tackled Micah to the floor.

Posted by Mona - No CommentsHollywood Live! has a cute red carpet video straight from the Independent Spirit Awards. (Netflix is officially off the Christmas card list.) Watch the whole thing for some very sweet sentiments, or catch Buscemi and his wife briefly at 1:03.

I sifted though 600+ pictures to find these gems - before my coffee, no less - so please smile and enjoy them extra hard. Special thanks to Cinematical, who got the ball rolling on my photo hunt.
Sienna Miller, sadly, did not win Best Actress but she did look very lovely all dressed up.
Until Netflix gets their shit together and posts the Jiminy Glick/Steve Buscemi interview, here’s the next best thing: John Waters. (Warning: Jiminy Glick isn’t funny, proceed with caution.)

After a year and six months online, TISB lands a sweet spot on SB’s Worldwide Wikipedia. We are up in Japanese, Dutch, German, French, Russian and a host of other tongues, including the #1 external link in English. This is a big milestone for this website. I’ve never been so proud of my baby.
To those readers that made this possible, you are my online heroes. ♥ ♥

Naturally!

Buscemi with Jo Andres at the screening of Bernard and Doris, January 31. Three more red carpet snaps can be found at the usual place. Going on about how amazing the Mrs. is looking these days seems tacky, so I’ll just say I love her sweater and wish to claim one as my own.

Buscemi had a very small part, but I just need an excuse for an extra dose of Walken goodness in my life. See the rest of the stills at Flickr.
