Igor’s New Poster

Legit, respectable websites get to have all the fun (and we’re very grateful, too).
B on E(R)
Posted by Mona - No CommentsBuscemi will guest star on the season finale of ER, a show I haven’t watched in a good 7 years.
And since this emergency room is often as dangerous as a cage-fighting venue, he’ll “threaten the safety” of the hospital staff and make Pratt “choose between the life of a patient or the lives of his staff.”
Also appearing in the episode: Stanley Tucci. Man, those boys are just doing everything together these days.

When Stevie met Stanley
Posted by Mona - 1 Comment

I found this too adorable not to post:
Stanley Tucci and Steve Buscemi arrived at the same time, befitting a friendship that Buscemi said began when they were part of a hiking trip that got too tiring and intoxicating to finish. They wound up hitching a ride down the mountain on the back of a septic tank servicing truck (motto: “We’re No.1 in the No. 2 business). The filmmakers share ownership of a production company now. “If anyone wants to invest,” Buscemi quipped, “We’ll take you down with us.”
This made my week.

Diablo Cody has a Buscemi fetish

CIAA needs a hug
Posted by Mona - No CommentsDespite being a very versatile actor with a highly impressive resume and a laundry list of personal charities and causes, not to mention being Italian himself and proud of it, the Coalition of Italian American Associations is not very pleased with Steve Buscemi.
In February, Buscemi was a guest speaker at a dinner the Coalition held at the Columbus Citizens Foundation - dedicated to fostering appreciation for Italian-American heritage - on the Upper East Side. But Foundation president Louis Tallarini had objected prior to the dinner, saying Buscemi “portrayed a mafia lifestyle” in his “Sopranos” role - and now, he’s banned the Coalition from holding its events there.
Yikes. If they hate Buscemi this much, poor James Gandolfini will be shot on sight.
Steve Buscemi is ‘Good’!

Even snippy modern fem-bloggers love B. Jezebel covered The Visitor screening last night in NYC and placed Buscemi and partner Stanley Tucci in the ‘Good’ category for the evening. Other thumbs up went to Blythe Danner and Patricia Clarkson, while three women I don’t recall hearing of were bad and poor Griffin Dune was the sole ‘Ugly’.
And just in case: Bromance - noun 1. A non-sexual relationship between two men that are unusually close.
They really are just sooo cute though, aren’t they?
28 Days
Posted by Mona - No Comments28 Days is a disappointing horror film. There’s only a few scenes with blood, and the demon that torments Gwen is a unconvincing CGI creation with the voice of Steve Buscemi.
