Double Flop Poker Rules
If you have already played the Texas Hold’em game then you can easily play double flop Texas Hold’em game. In order to play this game you need to have additional community cards.
First step in this game is Flop
It is not just a flop, it includes both river and turn cards as well. You should be using double community cards to build your hand. Once the flop is dealt there will be six cars, where three will be on the lower board and three other will be on upper board. Once this round is over, turn cards will be dealt to players. Here one card will be dealt on lower board and one will be on upper board. Finally river cars will be dealt to players.
Confusion in Cards and Their Usage
This game is similar to Hold’em game so you can use five cards to make the best hand from seven available in front of you. This double flop game uses 52 cards deck, as you will have choice to take more cards use this game. If you have a king flush then it looks good if there is an ace on the other board, and there are few suits which don’t match.
More Choices to Make
You should use only one row to make your hand. You can use either the upper row or the lower one. Let us say that you have a king and ace in the pocket. Upper flop is A, 3, K and the lower flop is 8, 10, J. This means that you have a two pair in front of you. Here turn cards dealt are Q lower, and 8 upper.
Your Winning is doubled
In double flop Texas Hold’em winner will be selected based on the upper row and the lower row. Sometimes players have best hands for both rows; this allows them to win the whole pot. Though this doesn’t happen all the time, most of the times they should be sharing pot with others.
