Paris, je T’aime review

Leaked scene Paris 5

Take the case of Steve Buscemi, who’s sitting on a bench in the Metro station at the Tuileries quietly studying his guidebook when he glimpses a couple of energetic young lovers on the opposite platform. He’s smiling indulgently just as the man draws breath between kisses and the two make eye contact. Big mistake. What comes next encapsulates all the hazards of foreign travel in five action-packed minutes.

Tuileries, one of the 18 short films that make up Paris, is described as “…one of the more sardonically successful of the short films.” Itis directed by the Cohen brothers and stars Buscemi, so it’s chances of rocking are very high. There are oodles of talented actors and directors in this French collaboration, including Natalie Portman, Marianne Faithfull, Frédéric Auburtin, Wes Craven, Willem Dafoe (eee!!), Miranda Richardson… people, I could go on all day.

Check out the full review here. I have been waiting for this movie for a looong time and it’s looking sooo gooooood. I want, I WANT.
